Renovation, there are many old and often huge houses being renovated in Trevallyn. Its obvious that at one time there was a quick fix up then flog it off mentality. In the last few weeks we have seen many such sad homes and quite honestly I wondered why the owners even bothered because the patching up is just so bad. On the other hand, many new owners are going to great even extreme lengths to bring some of these once grand buildings to levels of finish that goes beyond the original 1800’s product. Its very heartening and a visual delight to see such buildings.
